How to begin your adventure with WZW Fishing System
WZW Fishing System is a fishing simulator working inside a 3D world of Second Life (SL). The advantage of SL world is that each user sees the same, thanks to that very realistic fishing with friends, when you can see each other is possible. You can see pictures taken during some fishing contests in a gallery.
In WZWyou can fish with spinning, float and ground method using one or two rods, in lakes or sea.
Tobegin your adventure with SL and WZW you don’t need any cash input. Registration, existence and the basic equipment is totally FREE.
To enter the SL world, you need to choose an avatar and register on page
https://join.secondlife.com/?lang=en-US
and then download and install a program thanks to which you will be connecting wth SL.
After logging in you will land in some default place, so you need to find the WZW main pond. To do that click magnifying glass icon from the gathering of icons on the left side of your desktop. Write ‘WZW Fishing System’ in the window that will pop up.
Choose ‘Teleport’ in a first position in results.
When you are at the main pond, enter the shop and look for free package of float method and click to buy (for 0).
Nowopen your inventory (some kind of a wardrobe where all of your stuff are) with a right icon (picture below) choose a folder ‘Objects’, where you will find bought package with your equipment.
Go out from the shop, go near the pier and unpack your equipment. To do that hold the package with left mouse button and drag it at the pier. When your package is on the pier, click it with right mouse button and choose ‘Open’, the window with the contents of the package will pop up – click ‘Copy to inventory’
Inventorywith the equipment and 3 notecards will open automatically. One notecard with polish description, other with English one, the third one consist of links to youtube – these are short movies with instructions, showing you step by step how to use the equipment.
Movies, just like notecards are to choose in both languages.
Remember that some of the stuff you need to wear on your avatar (click with the right mouse buton and from menu choose wear – ex. fishing rod or InfoHUD),
other you need to put on the ground (float, baits).
Rememberalso to delete remained, empty package left after unpacking the equipment.
Cought fish can be exchanged for points and then points for equipment. Yet, you need to remember that WZW is a simulator and similarly like in real world, every fish exchanged for points means that we have this one fish less in water. You can also get some free baits by digging out some worms or catching some little fish for live bait.
What is inside the free package?
- BaitBox (Red Worms / Czerone Robaki) - Red worms bait,
- Bucket / Wiadro - Bucket is need to crumble every groundbait,
- WZW_FREE_Float_5gr - Free float 5gr, perfect for beginning anglers. A float is a complete end line. It consist of leader, sinker and hook and there is no futher division.
- WZW Cloth Hoodie - Polar sweatshirt with WZW logo, you can (but you don’t need to) wear it on your avatar, to do this unpack the package and wear all parts on your avatar, male and female version,
- Manuale - Instructions, 2 language versions – PL i ENG, + video instructions also in both language versions,
- WZW_Groundbait_FREE_1kg - Free groundbait,
- WZW_GROUP_Inviter - This is an object, which you need to wear on your avatar, it will appear in the middle of your desktop, after clicking it, you will get a special link opening a group window with a possibility to add yourself to the WZW group. Membership in this group is of course free and thanks to that you will get different information about WZW in SL. It is information about news, contests, competitions, new fisheries, new species etc.
- WZW_InfoHUD - This is a special panel, which shows us information about a rod, line, the end line etc. There is also a section needed to control the rod.
Panel control the rod which you are holding at the moment. You need to wear it on your avatar, it appears on the left side of your desktop.
- WZW_Rod_FREE_3.6m_4-12gr_v2 - Free float rod, 3.6m 4-12gr.
In every WZW shop in SL you can find a panel called WZW SUPPORT, it show an online/offline status of people who can help you with WZW Fishing System. Help in polish you can get from xec Parx and Marcela Yootz, in English from all four people from SUPPORT panel and portuguese from terrace Chau.

Few words about the Second Life
At the endof August 2007, according to the official data, registered were over 9 million players, therein 1,5 million active in the last 60 days.
Second Life offers many possibilites like in real life: you can buy your own house or land, you can talk with your friends, you can fish or shop, etc...
Second Life has its own script language, on which WZW is build.
Registration and existence in Second Life world is free, but SL has its own economy, we can buy and sell objects and services. SL world is financially safe for new residents, because we can buy anything only of we have money so it’s impossible to make debts.
A monetary unit in Second Life is Linden Dollar (L$). With this currency you make all of transactions in SL.
You can earn some money by offering some services or objects in the virtual world of SL. There is also a possibility to buy and sell L$. This operation is possible thanks to PayPal system or different kind of exchanges.
